Chance The Rapper – Hip-Hop Producer

COLORINGbook is the second mixtape by American hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper. It was made by his then-band The Social Experiment, Lido, along with rappers Kaytranada and Lotto. For this mixtape, Chance also worked with artists like Kanye West, Young Thug, Waka Swagga, and Theophilus & the Birds of Asia. In this mixtape, Chance plays over ten songs, which are all about people from different backgrounds and ethnicities living in the United States.

It must have been a very emotional experience for Chance to have his name included on the first ever chart-topping album of the career of hip-hop artist dead president Barack Obama. This mixtape, titled Coloring Book, was released in August or September of last year and charted well despite the critical acclaim it received. One reason that Coloring Book did well be because it featured a number of guest appearances by rap’s biggest stars. Chance’s other albums also feature big names in the genre like Kanye West, Rihanna, Big Daddy Kane, Pharrell, Paul McCartney, Theophilus & the Birds of Asia, and many more. Chance’s sudden popularity may be linked to his appearance on Beyonce’s track “Hollywood Witches” with Beyonce and he performing along side Timbaland and Usher.

Favorite songs from Coloring Book include Kanye West’s “Four Roses,” which features production from the Wu-Tang Clan, and Usher’s “Take Me Home Tonight.” Chance the rapper has also worked with the late Ice-T and Cee-Lo, who produced his last two major album releases. Other notable rappers who have had hits off of Chance’s mixtapes include 50 cents, Dot Da Genius, Eazy-E, Scarface, 50 Cent, P Diddy, Inspectah Deck, Rakim Sadihi, Akon, Jadakiss, Scarface, Kim Benzani, Benzino, Big Daddy Kane, Ying Yang Sen, Akon, P Diddy, Akon, Chinx Nelly, and Lil Kim. Most of these artists have yet to release their latest album, but it is safe to assume that some announcements will be coming soon.
