Despite the backlash, Hoover has remained committed to the project and is hopeful that the book will help others. “I hope that this coloring book can be a platform for respectful discourse and accountability, while also being an ally to women who have survived trauma and those who work to prevent it,” she said in a statement.
The book features 63 paintings from Thomas Kinkade’s Disney Dreams Collection alongside black line art for you to color in. The illustrations are printed on non-bleed paper and come in a hardcover.
