Many of today’s most popular coloring books contain bold black-and-white pages. The most appropriate tools for coloring pages are black markers and large-tip pens. Coloring books can also be made digitally and include page numbers. Once you’ve gathered your coloring book images, you’ll need to prepare the pages. Print them out and organize them according to your design preferences. Next, you should decide on the size of the pages.
Choose the size of the paper you’ll print your book. For a 21-page softcover coloring book, you’ll need 22 photos, one for the cover and the other twenty-one for the coloring pages. Choose photos with bold features and simple backgrounds. Avoid busy images. Crop your images to fit the final book orientation and remove any extraneous elements. Make sure the foreground is black in order to maximize the effect.
Then, save your coloring book images to a file. To do so, click on the File menu and select Print. Choose ‘Fit to page’. Make sure to flip the page orientation. Finally, click on the Print button. When you’re finished, you’ll have a high-quality coloring book image ready to print. The images should be high-quality, and you should be able to color them easily.
When selecting the images for your coloring book, keep in mind the purpose of the book. If you’re creating a book for a child, you can pick classic art, such as an Alphonse Mucha painting. You can also choose vintage advertisements to make aliens. Choose your subject matter wisely. Your intended audience will determine the theme of your coloring book. If you want it to appeal to young children, try a book with educational purpose.
